What a license does not include
Consulting, onboarding calls, custom setup, custom formulas, bespoke reporting, custom branding, white-labeling, client portals, or managed project analysis. BidVariance is deliberately self-service: if you can fill in the three estimates per task, you can run it.
Guarantees and data
No account is created; no project data is ever uploaded. Activation sends only your license key and product id to verify entitlement. Payments, receipts, and refunds are handled entirely by Gumroad.

Is this a subscription?
No. Every BidVariance license is a one-time purchase. You keep using the version you bought; minor updates are included.
How is the license delivered?
Checkout and licensing run through Gumroad. You receive a license key by email and activate BidVariance in your browser.
Where does my project data live?
In your browser (IndexedDB). BidVariance is local-first: simulations, project data, and reports are produced on your machine. Only the license key itself is sent for verification.
Can I use one license for my whole team?
Pro covers one user. Business covers up to five internal users in one legal entity. Consultant covers client work for one consultancy but does not include white-labeling.
What is not included?
Consulting, onboarding calls, custom setup, custom formulas, custom deployment, bespoke reporting, custom branding, white-labeling, client portals, and managed analysis are not part of any license.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are handled through Gumroad’s policies. If activation genuinely fails for you, contact us via the Gumroad purchase page.
